Along with being host to a wide diversity of medicinal plant species, and an excellent example of deciduous forest ecology - This location is right near Briana's home turf!
What is Plant Camp IRL?
Taught by Briana Wiles, Kat Mackinnon, and guest instructors, Plant Camp is a learning community bringing together plant lovers, wild food enthusiasts and herbalists!
This Plant Camp is particularly special, as jim mcdonald of herbcraft will be joining us to give a plant walk during the weekend
Where Do We Stay?
A beautiful spot with 10 acres of private land, including fields, woods, and a swimming pond.
Participants can stay onsite and set up a tent or sleep in their vehicle, or if you're coming from nearby, simply drive in each day.
WHAT WILL I LEARN IN MICHIGAN?
Join herbalists Briana Wiles, Kat Mackinnon, and jim mcdonald for a hands-on intensive in beautiful Hadley Township, MI.
This course will immerse you in how to identify plants, work with them as foods and medicines, avoid poisons, and create your own medicinal preparations.

Course Logistics
- The weekend begins Saturday at 8:30am, and ends Sunday at 6pm
- This program is intensive with breaks throughout the day. Expect to begin class early, take a longer lunch break in the afternoon, then continue with class into the evening.
- There will be some walking and slightly strenuous activity - all participants are welcome to bring a small chair or walking stick.
- Be prepared for hot days and cold nights
- Please come self-sufficient for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day if staying onsite, or at least lunch of staying only during the day.
Participants have the option to car camp or stay in a tent onsite, or driving in each morning and out in the evening.
Cancellation Policy and Fees
- If a participant requests to cancel their enrollment in the course more than 14 days prior to the start date, a full refund will be issued.
- If a participant requests to cancel their enrollment in the course between 7 to 14 days prior to the start date, a 50% refund will be issued.
- If a participant requests to cancel their enrollment in the course less than 7 days prior to the start date, no refund will be issued.
- In the event that the course is cancelled by the organizers, participants will be entitled to a full refund.
- Please note that all cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to the designated contact person. Refunds will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the cancellation request.
- Refunds will be issued to the payment form used to make the original purchase of the course.
