  • For the Wild Foods Potluck on Thursday, will I be scorned if my dish isn't 100% wild?

    • No. This potluck is a scorn free zone. This is a fun invitation to try your hand at incorporating some wild foods into a dish, and sharing it with new and old friends. Sam Thayer, a wild foods author and teacher has something like this at an event we've taught at before, and we just thought it was the bees knees.
    • We ask that you include a label with your ingredients, so folks know what they're getting themselves into:)
  • Is there a designated family camping area?

    • Yes:) This area is designed for families with tiny humans who may have go to bed/wake up earlier then what works for the standard campground 10pm-7am quiet hours.

  • There are so many cool classes - how can I attend them all?

    • We’re so glad you asked.
    • Some classes (and the ones that tend to be the most popular) are taught twice over the course of the weekend.
    • Some of the more hands-on classes will be limited in how many people can attend, such as basket making, etc., but most classes can take at least 30 people, and more than half of them do not have a class limit.
    • All of this means that if you miss a class one day, or if it’s full during the first time slot it’s taught,  it’s likely you’ll be able to catch it again on another day.
  • Will I need to sign up for classes?

    • Yes, some of them!
    • The intensive hands-on classes have a participant limit to ensure that everyone has a high-quality experience.
    • For these classes, you'll be required to sign up in advance, and in some cases, pay a materials fee.
    • We suggest having a few classes in mind that you’d like to take during each time frame in the schedule. That way,  if one of your desired classes is full, you’ll be ready to sign up for your next choice.
  • Can I come for the day?

    • Possibly. If we have day passes available, we will be posting them 1 month before the event.
  • Do I need to bring cash?

    • It is encouraged to have cash to shop with our many talented vendors, though most of them take credit cards.
    • Similarly, if you olan on geting a service from one of the folks in our Healer's Garden area, we also recommend bringing cash!
    • Big B's Delicious Orchards Cafe and Market takes cards.
  • Where can I stay if I don't want to camp?

    • There are nearby hotels, Airbnb's, and camping options that can be found HERE.
  • Where is the closest airport?

    • The closest airports are Montrose Regional Airport or Grand Junction Regional Airport. Aspen or Gunnison are other options but are a bit farther.
  • What's nearby that is worth a visit while I'm in the area?
